Registration of personal keywords

SmsCoin project gives all our partners an unprecedented opportunity to create your own keyword and unique SMS-message text for any of your web resources. You can access this option in corresponding section of the control panel.
You can invent your own keyword common for all your services and registered under one user ID, as well as texts of SMS-messages which will serve as unique identifiers for each of your services separately. Choosing a keyword you should take into account following restrictions:
1. keyword must begin with a dot (.), which is always placed first in the symbol list on any mobile device;
2. keyword must include another at least 3 symbols (Latin letters or numbers);
3. it\'s not allowed to construct a keyword from numbers only.
Likewise in order to identify specific service you may construct an SMS text, which has to be written following the keyword by the user in SMS he send.
So, if formerly full SMS text which was to be sent on a special short number (shortcode) to pay for the service at your website was dam 11111, where 11111 was an identifier of your service, now if you want you may construct message text for instance following one:
if you choose keyword .com and identifier pany, then the customers of your service will have to write in SMS messages .company ;
if you have another one service registered in our system under the same name you should assign to it other identifier, fort,
for instance, and to pay for this service customers will have to write in SMS messages .comfort .
More simple example could look like this:
if there are several services registered under your name you can use their sequence numbers or corresponding cost of SMS as identifiers, then the texts of users\' SMS should be written like this:
.com1
.com2
.com3
and so on...
Personal keywords are valid only on the territory of 3 countries: Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.

SmsCoin changes rules of the market

One of the most crucial issues for sms services providers is clear tariffication system. Customer has a perfect right to know the exact cost of service he gets and if the tax is already included in it. It\'s no problem to give such information for most of the countries except Russia where the same price given in conventional units by different mobile operators considerably varies being converted to roubles. That\'s why the tariffication system with prices set in conventional units was accepted and widely spread along with recommendation to get exact cost information from mobile operators. Dollar instability made situation even more complicated and underminded old principles.
Playing the leading role in internet oriented sms services market we decided to follow the tendency and convert Russian tariffication system to roubles.
We guarantee that the gain of our partners will not decrease, we expect even the rise of it. Moreover, we are going to offer you the best terms of profit sharing among all the providers of sms billing.
Of course such global innovations require several technical changes in our system. If you use the standard solutions of our sms services no problems will occure. If you use your own or joint solutions your services could experience some troubles presumably in the operation of XML-file with prices.
Anyway it is strongly recommended that all our partners using such services as remotely deployed sms:key, sms:safe, and sms:transit take the following actions:
1.while using our standard solutions you have to upgrade all the scripts to the current version on smscoin.net;
2.while using your own or joint solutions you have to check the changes in our code in order to amend your own and apply to our support service for inspection.
Transition to a new system is planed to perform on 20.05.2008, so you have enough time to check and upgrade all the scripts. In this period we\'ll release detailed tariffication with new percents given. Our support service will be glad to answer all your questions and to check operability of your systems after amendments performed.
